THE PHILOSOPHY

“When I leave,
it should look like
your home.”

GENE ASBURY

A room begins with listening. What you love, what you already own, how you entertain, and how you want to feel when you walk through the door.

With decades of independent design experience, Gene brings together pieces from different eras, respects the architecture, and finds common ground between the tastes of the people who share a home. The result is livable art.

ABOUT GENE ASBURY

A personal eye.
A lasting relationship.

Gene Asbury designs homes that feel like the people who live in them. His approach begins with listening: to the pieces clients treasure, the way they spend their days, and the different tastes that share a home.

Decades of independent design experience have taken his work through private residences, major renovations, luxury residential common areas, restaurants, and nightclubs. His eye moves comfortably between English and European eclecticism, mid-century influences, and contemporary interiors.

What connects the work is a respect for architecture and the art of bringing different periods, materials, and personalities together. Long-standing client relationships have continued across decades and multiple homes. For Gene, a finished room should feel collected, comfortable, and unmistakably yours.
